Free virtual body doubling
for writers and creatives.
Join us for a free one-hour virtual body doubling session every Tuesday at 11 am Central European Time. This group is a judgement-free, neuro-affirming space where you can work independently on your current writing project with the mutual support of other writers.
This group is hosted by me, Rachel Porter, a neurodivergent editor and writer. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space for neurodivergent writers to pursue their passion.
Whether you need help with accountability, task initiation, or staying focused, this group was created to help writers like you. I hope you’ll join us and find inspiration in a mutually supportive group of neurodivergent creatives.
Conquer task initiation paralysis, share your executive load, and build community with virtual body doubling.

FAQ
-
Body doubling is a productivity technique that involves working in the presence of another person, either in person or virtually, to help build focus and motivation. Working alongside someone else creates a natural sense of accountability and structure.
-
This group is for anyone who wants to write, but struggles with focus, procrastination, task initiation, or other symptoms of executive dysfunction, and could benefit from body doubling.
The group is open to writers and creatives of all levels and backgrounds—even if writing isn’t your regular thing—and all topics and formats are welcome.
-
Each session begins with a 5-10 minute check in, to share what we’re working on and any challenges we’re facing.
Then, we get to work on our individual projects with 40-45 minutes of writing time. Microphones are muted during this time, but the chat will be open for questions or support.
Finally, we have a 5-10 minute wrap up to share progress, reflections, and to celebrate each other’s efforts.
-
Of course! Participants are welcome to join from anywhere in the world.
-
Yes! I created this group because it’s something that I’ve often wished to have access to myself. I believe we should all create the things we wish existed, if we can.
