About me.
I’m Rachel, the AuDHD editor behind Authentic Self Editorial. I love supporting neurodivergent writers and creatives in expressing their authentic selves and sharing their passions with the world.
I provide editorial services that celebrate and affirm unique neurodivergent voices.
Whether neurodivergence is the focus of your creative endeavors or simply part of your identity, when you work with me, you receive:
the safe, neuro-affirming space you need to be vulnerable about your writing;
a feedback approach that is tailored to you, to meet your individual communication and processing needs;
feedback that is communicated clearly, directly, and with kindness, and with an eye to collaboration, conversation, and respect;
if desired, someone who can help you to build awareness of your writing style by flagging patterns in language, usage, and structure;
the benefit of my professional training and experience, and 35+ years of hyperlexia and writing as a special interest.
Whatever form your passion takes, I ensure that your message is communicated in your unique voice so that you can share yourself with confidence and authenticity.
